You need to open you mind.  You need to let God do a work in your heart.  You need to believe that zombies are real.

Zechariach 14:12 homies…

And the Lord will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

Yummy.  Give it time. The Lord’s will WILL be done…and I can’t wait!

(another thought: Jesus died. And then rose from the dead. That makes him undead. Nuff said!) 

On a more serious note… week 2 of Journey was amazing.  We’ve been praying “God surprise us” and He listened this week.

It started with prayer. 4 of us were gonna do it. 11 dudes came in, and I’ve never been part of a more jacked-up, power-filled old-school prayer showdown.

We started 15 minutes late…50 hungry dudes pounded by beef burritos at a record pace.  James led us in an incredible time of worship, and John Fairchild brought the truth HARD.  I’ve never seen him share so well.  And God was working him over, we could tell.  Afterward, Kevin and Rich created an amazing response time…a communion table made up of our sins, weaknesses, and brokenness.  Guys were crying. Guys were laughing. Everyone was praying and singing and talking.  We couldn’t control it.  God was moving.  We just tried to stay out of the way.

Then God surprised me personally.  A certain dude was there. I went to school with him over a decade ago.  I had been a total douchebag to him.  And my spirit new it from the moment I saw him. I knew I had to make it right.  And so I had the JOY of reconciling with an incredible dude named Jeremy…a guy who I had treated poorly, over 10 years ago.  We talked for 15 minutes and both our spirits reconciled and were at peace. HOW GOOD IS IT WHEN BROTHERS WALK TOGETHER IN UNITY?!!
